Perseus was a hero of Ancient Greece. In Greek mythology, he was revered as the hero who managed to decapitate the Gorgon, Medusa, whose gaze is able to turn people into stone. In the Assassin's Creed universe, it is said that he was the son of Zeus, one of Those Who Came Before and a mortal woman. It is known he was in possession of the Sword.
