Trivia

  • Pariah has come to mean outcast, from a Tamil word 'Parai' for people who would try to draw attention by drumming on animal skin. They were cast out from society or caste, which may be the reason he is wearing a mask.
  • The Pariah was originally believed to use a pistol as his weapon. However, the device is actually a primitive gunpowder-based captive bolt pistol with four prongs on the bolt head.
  • He is very similar to the target that Ezio assassinates with the Hidden Gun in the cinematic trailer of Assassin's Creed II.
  • Due to the description, the Pariah could be the target that Ezio assassinates or tried to, in the cinematic trailer of the second game.
  • Along with the Dama Rossa, Knight and Marquis, he is a multiplayer character that has not previously been seen, and is unlockable by purchasing The Da Vinci Disappearance for £7.99 on PS3 and 800 MS for the Xbox 360; alternatively the DLC will be freely available for the PC version of the game.
