Naples (Italian: Napoli) was a major city located in southern Italy. During the Renaissance, the city was the capital of the Kingdom of Naples, the biggest Italian state before the Unity.

Naples was the site of a Naval Cannon construction facility controlled by the House of Borgia. During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore infiltrated the base to destroy the war machines designed by Leonardo da Vinci. He subsequently dispatched several Borgia military vessels in the city's harbor by the burning their sails with a stolen Naval Cannon.[1]
