Jacob Frye (1847 – unknown) was a British Assassin active in London during the Victorian Era, and the twin brother of Evie Frye. Originating from Crawley, where they were raised as Assassins since their birth, Jacob and his sister moved to London to overthrow the oppressive establishment and help the poverty-stricken masses.

Alongside her, Jacob led the Rooks, a criminal syndicate opposing the Templars. Unlike his level-headed and stealthy sister, Jacob was reckless and rebellious. However, at some point in his life, Jacob came into contact with the novelist Charles Dickens and biologist Charles Darwin.

• Jacob's name is of Biblical origin, with the meaning being either he who grasps the heel or supplanter. Frye is a derivative of the English word free.
• Jacob keeps a shilling around his neck as a memento.
