Daniel Cross is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed: The Fall, a comic-book series set in the Russian Revolution.
Biography
Daniel Cross,an ex-convict, recovering drug addict and alcoholic, had been experiencing painfully realistic visions from a past life for an undetermined amount of time. As he didn't know how to control these visions, he went crazy and soon found himself sitting in a psychiatrist's office.
Some time later, he was contacted by the modern day Order of Assassins, who told him that he was suffering from the "Bleeding effect" and was thus viewing the memories of one of his ancestors: the Assassin Nikolai Orelov. As both the Assassin Order and Daniel himself were curious about his ancestor's memories (namely what happened during the Tunguska event), Daniel was placed in an Animus to find out more about them.
Trivia
- His first name "Daniel" means "Judgment of God" or "God's Judgment" in Hebrew.
