ı agree, the game's combat needs a lot of revamp and they really need to fix a lot of things but IMO it was the best combat system since AC1. The combat in the past few games was just boring  and unchallenging (though it had really cool animations especially in ACR and AC3). It seemed like you were cutting through paper and it was so damn easy. At least now even if it needs a lot more depth we have a challenging combat system (frustrating too) which forces us to escape and hide. But the psychic guards who reload their gun in 0.1 second were really pissing me off too.
