The Athenian Tunic was a type of tunic worn by the citizens of Athens during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the philosopher Sokrates gave one to the misthios Kassandra as a reward after she provided her input on an Athenian man who stole a horse in the Port of Piraeus.[1]
