The Athenian Tassets were tassets worn and utilized by Athenian soldiers. Made with reinforced leather, they allowed for protection from basic attacks. The Adventurer's Belt was based on this belt's design.
During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra could purchase the tassets from blacksmiths or loot them from bodies and chests across Greece.[1]
