The Athenian Tassets were tassets worn and utilized by Athenian soldiers. Made with reinforced leather, it allowed for protection from basic attacks.
During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra could purchase the tassets from blacksmiths or loot it from bodies across Greece.[1]
