Athenian Sandals

The Athenian Sandals were leather sandals favoured by the citizens of Athens in ancient Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the sandals were commonly sold by blacksmiths in and outside of Athens.[1] Also, the sandals were known to be used by Athenian peltasts.
