Well, in Versailles he tells Elise "What I wanted was you". He joins her on her revenge quest, but he isn't seeking revenge himself. As far as I understood, the whole plot of Unity was him protecting Elise and redeem himself, but to Elise.
Well, in Versailles he tells Elise "What I wanted was you". He joins her on her revenge quest, but he isn't seeking revenge himself. As far as I understood, the whole plot of Unity was him protecting Elise and redeem himself, but to Elise.
Still, the whole game makes it look like a quest for revenge, and I think Ubisoft was consciously trying to avoid that... yeah.

Well, in Versailles he tells Elise "What I wanted was you". He joins her on her revenge quest, but he isn't seeking revenge himself. As far as I understood, the whole plot of Unity was him protecting Elise and redeem himself, but to Elise.

Still, the whole game makes it look like a quest for revenge, and I think Ubisoft was consciously trying to avoid that... yeah.
