Thank you for agreeing and removing "Status" but can't we keep "alias"? I think this one is pretty useful (if not absolutely needed). Eg: Pope Alexander VI aka Rodrigo Borgia or "The Spaniard", or Desmond Miles aka "Subject Seventeen".--PhantomT1412 18:42, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

::Ok, and for the pope, I think I'll move it to Rodrigo Borgia since his more known under this name in the game, and he is only pope at the end.--PhantomT1412 19:04, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Revision as of 21:07, 3 December 2009

This template is used for characters to show what games they appear in, their voice actors, etc.

Usage

Syntax

name
The name of the character.
image
An image of the character. Omit the "File:" part of the image. E.g. "Example.jpg", not "File:Example.jpg".
imgdesc
A caption of the image.
faction
The character's faction(s).
appear
The games the character appears in.
period
The time period the character is in. E.g. "Renaissance".
voice
The character's voice actor.

Status

What's this status thing? It can hardly be applied to a series like Assassin's Creed since the game occurs in different time periods. So for me, it's incoherent to write "Altaïr: deceased", "Ezio: Alive" and "Desmond: Alive" because Ezio should be dead in 2012. And there is no use of such information if there is only 5-6 characters alive in 2012...--PhantomT1412 18:26, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Agreed. And removed. -- D. Cello 18:32, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Alias(es)

Thank you for agreeing and removing "Status" but can't we keep "alias"? I think this one is pretty useful (if not absolutely needed). Eg: Pope Alexander VI aka Rodrigo Borgia or "The Spaniard", or Desmond Miles aka "Subject Seventeen".--PhantomT1412 18:42, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

It is kind of useful, but too few characters have it. Lucy doesn't, 90% of the assassination targets doesn't, and all the secondary doesn't too. That info can be put on the page intro, like "Desmond Miles, also know by Abstergo as Subject Seventeen, is... " -- D. Cello 18:47, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Ok, and for the pope, I think I'll move it to Rodrigo Borgia since his more known under this name in the game, and he is only pope at the end.--PhantomT1412 19:04, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
