The Assassin Tomahawk was a tomahawk most notably used by the Kanien'kehá:ka Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton, otherwise known as Connor, during the 18th century.
It originally belonged to John de la Tour, the first Colonial Assassin in the New World, before he gifted it to Achilles Davenport in 1745 at his last stand during the Siege of Louisbourg to buy Achilles and Abigail time to escape.[1] Achilles later handed it down to Connor after he became an Assassin many years later.[2] The Louisianan Assassin Aveline de Grandpré later obtained an Assassin Tomahawk, after having met Connor in 1777 to eliminate the Templar George Davidson, a member of Lord Dunmore's Ethiopian Regiment.[3]

Behind the scenes
Various Abenaki, Lenape, and Shawnee warriors in the memories "The Braddock Expedition" and "Broken Trust" are seen wielding Assassin Tomahawks, despite neither nation having known ties to the Brotherhood.
If Connor equips another weapon that replaces the Assassin Tomahawk, he still wields it in certain cutscenes such as in "Public Execution" and "Lee's Last Stand". Furthermore, if Connor equips another weapon that replaces the Assassin Tomahawk, it will not appear in the armory in the Davenport Manor's basement. Instead, he would need to retrieve it at a general store for no cost.
In Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, the weapon is called Connor's Tomahawk and has the same stats as the Chimbuya Axe.
The Assassin Tomahawk can be obtained in Assassin's Creed III: Liberation by connecting to Assassin's Creed III, or by purchasing it for 20 Uplay points on Liberation HD.
The weapon is classified as a hammer in Assassin's Creed: Rebellion, as it uses the hammer animations rather than those of an axe. The game's description of the weapon incorrectly says it was given to Connor from the first Colonial Assassin, even though Assassin's Creed III shows it was given by Achilles Davenport who instead followed fellow Assassin John de la Tour into the Americas.
