We are pleased to inform you that the Assassin's Creed Wiki in association with Wikia Corporation is now hosting its first giveaway ever! We've got our hands on copies of Ubisoft Games including Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood to give away to our users!
Unfortunately, the games are for PC only, but this does mean that they'll be available worldwide – not only to US residents!
The giveaway officially opened September 7th.
The giveaway will officially close on October 8th.

Terms and Conditions

In order for a submission to the giveaway to be valid, the entrant must possess a valid Steam account, and be aged 17 or older.
The latter point is down to the fact that the games in the Assassin's Creed series are rated as "Mature" titles, by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). This means it is illegal for any person under the age of 17 to buy them without the approval of a parent or guardian. As such, it would be illegal for us to give them away to anybody under that age without their parents' consent.
Any entrant who fails to prove that they are older than 17 years of age will be disqualified.

Entry

The giveaway as a whole consists of three methods of entry:

  • A creative quote contest.
  • An art contest.
  • A random lottery.

We feel that this gives everyone a fair chance of winning – For those entrants with artistic talent, there is an art contest. For those with none, we have the creative quote competition, and for the wholly unskilled of you, there is the random lottery.
Participation in all three categories is acceptable. If one should choose to enter a creative quote, a piece of artwork, and puts their name forward for the lottery draw, they would have three chances at winning.

Creative Quote

An entry should consist of a creative quote, on the subject of:

"What Ezio says when his blade doesn't spring."

Yes, it's an innuendo. Yes, it is the best we could come up with.

One entry per user. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
Entrants should submit their quote on this page.

Art Contest

And now, something for our more artistic users. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make a lovely piece of artwork on this subject:

"Passing of the torch."

With both Ezio's and Altaïr's lives coming to an end, we felt it appropriate for you to draw something expressive of the whole idea behind the next Assassin's Creed game: The passing of the torch, the continuation of the lineage of the Assassins. The user who draws the piece of artwork which best portrays the continuing, unstoppable, awesome Assassin lineage will get the prize!

Three images per user. Any further images will be disqualified.
Entrants should submit their artwork on this page.

Lottery

Entrants should sign their name on the Contest page. Each name will be numbered, and after the contest is over, a number between 1 and the value of the last entry at the time which the contest ends will be chosen, with a random number generator. This value will then be taken back to the Contest page, and whoever's name matches up with it is the winner!

One entry per user. Further entries will be disqualified.
Entrants should sign their names on this page.

XBox 360 Microsoft points giveaway -- U.S. Residents ONLY
One entry per user. Further entries will be disqualified.
Entrants should sign their names on this page.

Reminder

The Assassin's Creed Wiki Staff would like to remind you that entry in all three categories is permissible, but each user is only allowed to submit one creative quote, three pieces of artwork, and enter the lottery once. Any entries surpassing these limits will be disqualified.

Good luck!
