*<s>Hello, I'd like to sign up for an Apprenticeship. I am on the wiki several times a day and contribute to it just as often. I'm fairly good at reverting vandalism in a timely manner as well as fixing grammar/spelling on occasion. I've beaten all the console games several times as well as Altaïr's Chronicles (though my knowledge for that one is limited). I also have the first three books and am currently reading The Fall. So far my specialty is adding memories, such as The Hangman, Hagia Sophia's Secret, and The Impaler's Tomb. I believe, with the help of one of the wonderful Staff here, I can become an even greater contribution to this wiki. I'm on the IRC frequently, but my general time is between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. UTC. How to become an Apprentice
Those who wish to become more than a simple editor have a steep road to climb before entering the AC Wiki's Mt. Olympus.
Blend
Users who wish to become Apprentices may sign up at the Recruitment page to make an appointment (but not to sign up as an Apprentice) with a sysop at the Official Assassin's Creed Wiki's IRC Channel. The user must specify what time the interview will be conducted, in order for the sysops to know what time they'll be on. Once both are online, the sysop then interviews the user three sets of questions via PM (Private Message). (Note: The interview must be taken over the IRC, so be sure to log in at the times specified, or it will not take place. For the number of chances allowed for missed interviews, see Point 3 below.)
Before signing up, the user must accumulate the minimum of 400 edits of which at least 300 edits must be mainspace edits and at least one major edit. If a user has not reached this amount, yet still signs up, their name will be removed from the list until they have reached the required number of contributions. The major edit MUST be linked when the user signs up for the initiative.
The three sets of questions will be based on three major aspects of the wiki: Editing, The Community and Knowledge over the series.
If the user fails to meet the sysop in the set time, he or she can set another appointment at the desired sysop's talk page. (Note: Only a total of three missed appointments can be accumulated. The user can no longer make an appointment after the initial failed three.)
Once the user has cleared the interview, he or she can freely resume his or her activities at the wiki, while the sysop passes the results to the other sysops for a review.
If the user meets the staff's standards: He or she is given permission to sign up at the Selection Hall, where he or she can be picked up by an Istruttore.
If the user does not meet the staff's standards: He or she is told about the final decision, and may or may not resume his or her wiki activities, depending on the user's decision.
Sprint
While waiting for a master to pick him or her up, the Apprentice is permitted to work around the wiki while he/she waits. The Masters' that have their name signed up at the Active List will check the listings for an apprentice that matches their personal preference, and when they find one, they can cross out the name of the apprentice off the list.
Once the master has chosen his apprentice, he or she will message the freelance at his or her talkpage and tell him that he/she has chosen him or her as his/her new understudy. The user is given the apprentice templates that will distinguish him/her from other users.
The user is now under the watch and guidance of his/her new master. The master has full responsibility over the apprentice, and can give him or her tasks to follow. From revamping a page, to adding a quote, and also fetching coffee. The apprentice will be able to learn from his/her master, while the master learns from his/her student, regarding various aspects.
There are 15 ranks for an Apprentice to work through, they are as follows: Recluta (Recruit), Servitore (Servant), Assistente (Assistant), Milite (Soldier), Discepolo (Disciple), Mercenario (Mercenary), Guerriero (Warrior), Sentinela (Sentinel), Mandatario (Agent), Silenziatore (Silencer), Operativo (Operative), Veterano (Veteran), Assassino (Assassin), Maestro (Master), and Maestro Assassino (Master Assassin).
What happens to the apprentice hereafter is up to the master to decide.
Take a Leap of Faith
After ascending through the 15 ranks of an Apprenticeship, the Master can give his or her final input on his or her apprentice. The master then passes it along to the council of 2 (which consists of the Direttore and the Camerlengo), and tells them what he or she thinks about his or her understudy.
If the user has gained his or her master's positive input: The user will go through the Voting Process, how their masters ascended into the staff. The apprentice is then evaluated by all of the staff, from other staff members, to the Bureaucrat himself. If the user gains enough votes, he or she is in. Get a negative ratio of Yays and Nays, and that user is out.
If the user has gained his or her master's negative input: The user will be given a template as a sign of recognition (a sort of "thanks for trying" template) and is permitted to continue his or her work around the wiki, depending on the user's decision. The user, after a certain time, can apply again for the apprenticeship.
If the user passes, he or she is now made an official Istruttore. He or she is given the same privileges as that of the staff, and is welcomed into the Istruttori with a more stable and secure position.

Hello, I want to become an apprentice. I know many things about the series and I think I have what it takes to be an apprentice. I'm on the IRC every day from 3 o'clock to 5 o'clock. The Loyal Recruit 11:10, June 17, 2011 (UTC)
Hello, I would like to sign up to the Apprentice program. I am usually online during Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and sometimes Sunday (basically everyday) at around 8 to 9 PM EST. Hello, I would like to sign up the Apprenticeship program. I feel that by being in it, I'll learn from some of the best this wiki has to offer, and will therefore be able to give the best that I have to offer. I own Assassin's Creed 2 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for PC, and feel that I have a strong grasp on the series. An edit I'm proud of is my revamp of the Arquebusiers page. I'm usually on the IRC between 3:30PM and 11:00PM, PDT. Thank you for your time :) SubtlePenThe Pen is Mightier 04:46, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
Greetings. I would like to sign up on the Apprentice Initiative. I frequent the wiki every day, and I am availalbe on IRC from 5 PM GMT to 2 AM GMT, also every day. I own all the main games in the series and have contributed to this wiki so far with good-quality content. My most extensive works were the expansion of the Armor page with information regarding Revelations, and continous edits on the Revelations Outfits page. Thank you for reading. -S- 20:52, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
Hi there. I would like to sign up for the Apprenticeship. I visit this wiki everyday and try to contribute a little and learn a lot each day. So signing up for the Apprenticeship to be an Apprentice to the experienced lot here would be great for me to further enhance myself and help this wiki by contributing what I can in the best possible way. I've played ACII and AC:Brotherhood (on my way to play Revelations), am familiar with the story and plot of the first game, as well as with Revelations. I try to familiarize myself with other aspects and stories of the AC Universe too. I've edited quite a bit here and helped by contributing to articles such as Synch Nexus, Book Shops(the tables with books and price), and a little with The End of the Line among others. Well, that's it. I can be at the IRC between 18:30 to 20:30 GMT. Thanks, let me know for further details. Cheers!--OdranoellutaTalk 19:23, March 13, 2012 (UTC)
