The following page is an apprentice assignment page, which acts as a connection between the apprentice, Elchzard, and their Master, Lord War Clown. It exists as an external talk page, aimed at dealing with all aspects of the apprenticeship. Only the above mentioned users and the staff have permission to converse here. Any outside interference will result in an immediate ban from the wiki.
Wiki Missions

Project 1: Battle of Arsuf
For your 1st assignment, you will be tasked with the major revamp of Battle of Arsuf page, an event article detailing Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's encounter with Robert De Sable and Richard the Lionheart. You are to perform the following:
- Better header names (something more creative-sounding, but not too corny :P)
- A better infobox pic that's more relevant to the event (something that screams "BATTLE!" or "MORTAL KOMBAT!" (pictures of Scorpion and/or Sub-Zero do not count for the latter point)
- This section extended (of course it has to be relevant). Also, that section's quote should be replaced with something better.
- Epic quotes from the Memory Sequence, placed at the top of a section (about 3 or 4 would do. The section aforementioned doesn't count)
- This picture, retaken in a better and more cinematic angle.
- This picture to be replaced entirely with a different one.
- Suggestion for a replacement pic: Altaïr running through the pathway with the knights chasing him (good angle of course), Altaïr facing off with some knights (again, good angle), or something else that you think is best.
- Source the page (probably the easiest part)
And I think that should do it. Here are some stuff you'll need to know:
- There is no time limit.
- There is no rush.
- thereisnospoon.
- There are no restrictions as to how you accomplish needed tasks (except of course, getting someone else to do all of them. I'll have you fried in a grill faster than you can log out).
- If you see any other mistakes like misspellings or grammar mistakes, don't hesitate to correct them.
Here are some pages that can help you get an idea of how you can accomplish the tasks perfectly. Follow them and use them as an example for this project:
And that will be your first assignment. Report to me (either via IRC or talkpage) when you have finished the task, and I shall review your work. That will be all. Dismissed.

Review

- The pictures added look a lot better. More relevant, and helps readers get a visual aid of the event.
- Quotes are top-notch. Light-years better than the quotes present before.
- Some of the headings weren't as creative as I have hoped for, though they were a bit better than the previous ones.
- Paragraphs were extended with more detail on the events, which is what the project aims for. That's good.
- Though, some grammatical and punctuation mistakes were found, also a very minor spacing issue. Nothing too major, thankfully.
- Added the relevant categories to the page, which I rarely do.
- Used the templates properly, which is good.
- Added the AC Nav template on the first phase of the revamp, which isn't supposed to be there. Minor problem though, corrected immediately.
- Overall: Apprentice managed to give the page a proper face-lift. Better quotes, better and more extended paragraphs, and a better page overall. Nice job.
Project 2: Rise and fall of Altaïr
Since at the IRC, you've chosen a vacation at Syria over a trip to the Roman Colosseum, your next project will again be a revamp. This time, instead of a branch of Altaïr's journey, you'll be handling the whole adventure. The Rise and fall of Altaïr is the main campaign article that binds together all of the deeds done by the most badass killer who had ever lived. Similar to Ezio's Liberation of Rome, this task will be a lengthy one, as you'll be detailing all of Altaïr's major exploits during 1191.
Here are the tasks you'll be doing:
- Put in an event infobox, with a picture that pretty much summarizes Altaïr's journey.
- In the Altaïr's Resurrection section, add sub-sections about everything that has transpired. The Search for the Apple, the Siege of Masyaf, Hunt for the Nine, Battle of Arsuf, and Retaking of Masyaf. Make a section for each of those events, with creative titles, and add a small, summarized and detailed paragraph about the events.
- About 2 to 4 paragraphs should for each section.
- Under each of these sections, put the ''{{Main|1}}'' template there, and replace 1 with the name of the article.
- The sections as a whole should have at least 2 or 3 epic pictures relevant to the events.
- Keep the current quote there, though you may move it wherever it may seem appropriate.
- An Aftermath section, with sub-sections detailing what happened to the Assassins, Templars, and the Holy Land.
- Source the page (again, the easiest part)
- Add some quotes wherever it may seem appropriate. Has to be relevant to where its placed ,of course. Also sourced.
That should about do it. For this task, the reference you'll be needing on how to accomplish it is the Liberation of Rome. That page's structure is about the same as the tasks I've set, so it'll be your best friend. Since this will be one lengthy and quite difficult task, you can ask for help in pictures and handling templates. There is no rush, no pressure, and preview often. Once the task is done, drop me a note. That will be all. Dismissed.
