==Freerunning in POP==
It's not about undoing my edit, but just to say that I do disagree freerunning came from Prince of Persia. The character is very dynamic jumping onto ledges and such. But that's where it mostly stuck at... Jumping and grabbing ledges. He would just be running mostly on the ground, not on rooftops. At least not as in a wild variety as Parkour is. The makers of the film itself they based it on Parkour, basically freerunning. Sorry mate, but I will explain this specifically as a sort of expert on the subject of parkour and freerunning (I am a sponsored traceur). Parkour is defined as getting from point A to point B as fast as you possibly can, technically, by rejecting the ideas of barricades and obstacles and using the entire environment to progress rather than hinder your motions. Now, while in real life, freerunning is just parkour with tricks, we will define it the same as parkour based on the way the term is used in the AC universe. It can be said that Prince of Persia was the inspiration for most of the parkour done at this point in AC. In POP, that was parkour by definition, as the environment was used to progress from point A to point B. Parkour is not restricted to rooftops, contrary to the views that were created with AC. Yes, rooftops are still included, but it is far more unlikely to see someone scaling a rooftop to get to the other side when there is a faster way to reach the area. From inspirational game standpoints, it is appropriate that POP was a contributor still, just with more simplified and probably more realistic parkour. :Well sorry, if I still disagree lol, I know parkour very well (not saying I'm an expert though), and let me tell as a player of all games, that the prince wasn't the best to get across somewhere (like  you said from A to B), often avoiding platforms that were lower based, as he couldn't grab onto them. I've watch a lot of videos myself of parkour. And I don't think it's a coincidence that AC used it in their games as well, not just because they took inspiration from the prince to make the assassins dynamic, but because parkour at that time started to increase in popularity again. (while it existed long before that, granted).
