  • Ludger Duvernay, a Canadian journalist and Assassin, posts a number of articles accusing the Canadian administration of serving the Château Clique, the leaders of the Templar Order.[1]
  • Ludger Duvernay is arrested on orders of the Château Clique, who even rallied the public against Duvernay. The Assassins eventually freed Duvernay, and he founded the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society after his release, hoping to gain indepence for Canada.[1]
