  • An earthquake strikes Constantinople, marking the leave of Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II and the secret return of the Templars, now fighting under the Byzantine banner.[1]

  • Leonardo da Vinci dies in the Clos Lucé in Amboise on 2 May, with his friends Ezio Auditore and Niccolò Machiavelli at his side.[2]

1832

  • Ludger Duvernay, a Canadian journalist and Assassin, posts a number of articles accusing the Canadian administration of serving the Château Clique, the leaders of the Templar Order.[3]
  • Ludger Duvernay is arrested on orders of the Château Clique, who even rallied the public against Duvernay. The Assassins eventually freed Duvernay, and he founded the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society after his release, hoping to gain indepence for Canada.[3]
