*Nothing directly, but the artifact somehow increased Batilla's ship attacks and defenses, imbuing the ship with a golden aura, sinking the theorically more powerful ship of Condent. I don't think Alonzo actually destroys Condent's ship, he damages the ship to a degree that Condent is startled and flees. Condent
