I greatly doubt that Altair did see the Truth video, he mentions in the codex seeing a vision of mountains splitting and so forth, huge towers crumbling etc This is either him seeing how 'they' died or what the future holds ahead for Desmond and such. You do not see anything that Altair mentions bar the buildings, but those could be 'our' buldings in the future. He could have seen either the end of the world as we know it, or as 'they' knew it. wiki's are typically for cannonical information. if you want cheats, then you should go to gamefaqs.
Extent of the truth video
Two speculations:
1. Subject 16 is related to Adam and Eve, meaning that Desmond could view it as well, since they come from the same lineage "Altair.
2. Altair witnessed the video when he peered into the piece of eden at the end of codex entries. This means that Desmond could still view it.
