We're really inconsistent with the inclusion of the definite article in pages concerning subjects known only be an epithet. With all the multiplayer avatars, such as the Duellist, the Firebrand, or the Barber we exclude it even though we would normally refer to them with the definite article. In contrast, since Origins was released we started having pages on arena bosses, such as The Duelist and The Axes, and phylakes with the definite article in their titles. We should be consistent about this. As far as I know, even when the definite article is an official part of the name, it is supposed to be excluded when named as a title, but I do not have a source to back this up, so we need to do a little research on the proper grammatical convention. I think the temptation to have added the definite article to the titles is because "Axes" sounds peculiar by itself. Definite article or no definite article[edit source]

Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 17:48, October 26, 2018 (UTC)
