:Oh my bad, seems ''I'' misread as well given I read it as I woke up. But my wording in the article doesn't mean that the Assassin presence predates the Templars' ''discovery'' of America, but predates the Templars' attempt to establish a rite in America. It was Columbus who exposed it for the European world anyways (though Leif Ericsson was the first) and the expedition was well known by both Assassins and Templars. I suppose "presence" might seem a bit vague in that regard, but I also didn't write this as an absolute fact but what the theory as presented by the transcript is. :Nevermind, yet again. The sleepiness has not worn off lol. I realize that since the wording is actually vague, it should be clarified that the theory presented in Abstergo Story may be wrong because of James Gunn's exploration though I personally interpret the meaning in the Abstergo Story as not who had been where first, but who had attempted to "settle" (or establish a branch) first. Templar presence
One minor mistake. Even if it is an Assassin colony, it doesn't predate the Templars discovery of America. As the Scottish Templar Knight James Gunn is said to have been there earlier. --ACsenior (talk) 10:09, July 15, 2017 (UTC)
- I didn't write that the Assassins predate the discovery of America. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 14:06, July 15, 2017 (UTC)
