How did you find the name ??????????
- I watched the German subtitled version of Dev Diary 3 and it said "Baron de Valois". And "baron" means "duke". -- Master Sima Yi 14:32, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
- That's not true, baron and duke is not the same title. baron doesn't mean duke. baron is a feudal title given to a person that owns a land. And duke is a higher title. Coming from the latin word "dux" and it means leader. 193.157.239.95 02:41, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
- Whatever, I was under the impression it was. He said "duke" or "duc" in the dev diary, but in-game it's "baron". -- Master Sima Yi 06:47, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

Duke De Valois
Although the House of Valois did exist, I think this character is probably fictionalised. One of Cesare Borgia's many titles was 'Duke of Valentinois' so I don't know if this is connected
Name
What the hell? His real name was listed in the Animus Database as Octavian de Valois. Why the change? --WarClownWanna Talk? 11:42, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
