Can we please change the "Ancestor" section of the infobox to simply be Haytham? Edward is in the memory, yes, but it's quite obvious a Haytham memory, since it can't be Edward since Haytham's there. If we list Edward as the ancestor, then surely we'd also have to list Maria Thorpe, Sef Ibn La-Ahad, Giovanni Auditore, Maria Auditore and Sofia Sartor, Charles Dorian (Probably Henry too since I assume he's the one who gets Evie pregnant) in all the memories they're in, since they're also ancestors. Edward shouldn't be listed here. [[User:Howling Snail|Howling Snail]] ([[User talk:Howling Snail|talk]]) 21:43, April 1, 2016 (UTC) | |||

Screens
I'm asking you lot here, how to resolve an issue with the voyage screenshot - do I just go "screw it" and post one with credits rolling, or splice Jenny into a random image of Ed sailing the sea? Because there's absolutely no way to wait out the credits or remove them from the screen. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 21:51, June 24, 2014 (UTC)
- I'm not really sure we need one, but if we do, then I suppose it's best to simply use one with the credits on it. Splicing an image would make it fan-art. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 21:56, June 24, 2014 (UTC)
- You haven't seen tons of spliced renders we're using, then. And no, I'm not talking about the ones I make in Blender. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 22:10, June 24, 2014 (UTC)
- Try a splice and we'll see how it looks, I guess? If it doesn't work, I'm not sure if the scene is actually worth taking a screenshot of, what with the credits and all. Crook The Constantine District 22:12, June 24, 2014 (UTC)
Genetic Memory
I might be missing something here, but how can you be viewing Edward's memory if his DNA has already been passed onto Haytham?--Inferno Penguin (talk) 03:07, November 9, 2014 (UTC)
- The sheer fact we're seeing these memories as a researcher unrelated by blood might be a part of the explanation. Perhaps this also comes down to Abstergo finding ways to view person's memories past the point of conception of an heir. Or this part of the memory isn't supposed to be taken as really "viewed", and is merely an OOU fanwank. --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 03:12, November 9, 2014 (UTC)
- All right, I guess that makes sense. I'm OCD about these kind of things, and it's been bothering me lately. Whatever, with Unity and Rogue coming out in around 50 hours here in Canada, I'm sure that I'll have a bunch of these kind of things bothering me again soon. --Inferno Penguin (talk) 03:21, November 9, 2014 (UTC)
- I actually remember reading a tweet from Darby McDevitt about this. It was intended for this memory to be seen through Haytham's eyes, but the final product does not reflect this very well. So yeah, it's not a breach of the lore, just kind of clumsy cinematic editing? Crook The Constantine District 07:18, November 9, 2014 (UTC)
Name and more
Could we state that this mission is named after Haytham's rank of the Templars (and to the guys above Ezio had a kid before revelations that allowed clay to exist but will still 'lived' as him) Hutchy01 (talk) 17:32, December 22, 2014 (UTC)
- That's because we saw Ezio's memories through Desmond, whose lineage was continued through Flavia. So up until she was conceived, any memories from Ezio could be viewed by Desmond. As the child from which Clay was descended was conceived earlier, Clay would not have been able to view Ezio's memories all the way to Constantinople. Crook The Constantine District 17:36, December 22, 2014 (UTC)
- That said "Master" is a common honorific signifying respect in that era, not an allusion to Haytham's rank. He's a bloody kid here, how does that even work? --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 18:06, December 22, 2014 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it's a pun. It refers to Master Kenway (Edward) and Grand Master Kenway (Haytham). That final scene is a transition.--Bovkaffe (talk) 18:08, December 22, 2014 (UTC)
