== Acadians and Le Grand Derangement ==
==The Acadians==
An entry on the French and Indian War really needs to have more mention of the French Acadians, and the Le Grand Derangement (expulsion of the Acadians). It was a very major event of the conflict. The Acadians should also be mentioned in the list of Combatants, seeing as by the mid 1700s, they were a very distinct group from France or other new world French societies.

There's a major character in AC:Liberation who is an Acadian who was deported from Acadia (Nova Scotia) during Le Grand Derangement. It's actually a pretty glaring omission that Rogue doesn't really mention this part of the war at all.

Louisiana

I don't know how to reference sources properly, but it should be mentioned that the Spanish gained Louisiana as a territory after the war, it is the setting of Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation afterall. AlexAdler (talk) 17:28, October 13, 2012 (UTC)
