Just last night, I bought the NY dye while wearing the Ezio Robe from Uplay a few days prior only to revert to the Assassin White.  Could be a bug/glitch even with the latest patch.  Anyways, I returned to the Homestead and changed back in the Ezio then again to the default thus trying it again since the dye was unlocked and it worked.  In an attempt to make this long story short, dyeing with Ezio's Robe on will revert to the Assassin White causing a few minute detour to change back to the Ezio then again to the default in order to re-attempt. "Perfect Harmony" Achievement

There's no official explanation (none that I have found, at least) regarding this, and it's pure speculation, but could the achievement "Perfect Harmony" actually be a reference to Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney's hit duet "Ebony and Ivory"? The first line of the song that we hear is: "Ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony" . Since this is (so far) only speculation and yet unconfirmed, I have not added it to the main page.
