I am not sure if they are intended to have extremely limited free-running abilities or if it was a glitch, but I once saw a Brute jump to a low, close ledge (from the sidewalk to the side of a bridge), pull himself up, and run along it for about a half a second in the manner Ezio does when running on a tight rope with the high profile and leg buttons held down. Lol if that were to happen again then it's sure to be some sort of glitch. But then again, All guards have the ability to climb, but varies by their athletic ability.

Brutes can actually climb ledges?
