Yule or Yuletide was a pagan festival celebrated by Germanic people before being appropriated by Christianity as it spread through Northern Europe.

History

The Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir arrived in Jorvik hunting members of the Order of the Ancients while the city was preparing for a Yule festival.

Yule festivals were also celebrated at Ravensthorpe.

Behind the scenes

As part of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla's post-launch content, a Yule festival event will be added to the settlement mechanic for a limited time.
