Ylva was a female dwarf who lived in Gullnámar, Svartálfaheimr.
Biography
Ylva found herself surrounded by Jotun warriors during the Muspel invasion. Atop a tall rock, she was cornered by the warriors, who transformed into their wolf forms. Fortunately, she was saved when the Æsir lord Havi killed her attackers. Ylva thanked him and informed him that the warriors planned to meet their leader at a black beach west of Sudra Mylna. She then traveled toward Grenhellir Shelter. At some point, she met Havi again and gave him a gift for rescuing her.[1]
