Viola de' Pazzi was a member of the Pazzi family, and was the daughter of Francesco de' Pazzi, sister of Vieri and great-niece of Jacopo de' Pazzi.
Biography
Shortly before his brawl with her brother on the Ponte Vecchio in 1476, Ezio Auditore da Firenze implied that he had slept with Viola, enraging Vieri and causing him to throw a rock at Ezio, which resulted in a deep scar on his lip.[1]
Once Ezio had enacted his vengeance upon those who had led to the ruin of his family's name, Lucrezia Borgia informed him that Lorenzo de' Medici had stripped away all of the Pazzi family's status and imprisoned them, with the women being unable to marry, undoubtedly affecting Viola in some way.[2]
Behind the scenes
Historically, Francesco de' Pazzi was not known to have fathered any children.
