Tydeus' Lair

Tydeus' Lair was a lair in Argolis, Greece allegedly belonging to Tydeus, a legendary hero and one of the Seven Against Thebes in Greek mythology.

Eventually abandoned, the lair was occupied by the Followers of Ares by the 5th century BCE. During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra infiltrated the place, killing the Follower and releasing their captive.[1]
