Trinidad is an island in the Caribbean which, alongside the northeastern island of Tobago, is part of the modern-day nation of Trinidad and Tobago. During the Golden Age of piracy, Trinidad was a part of the Spanish colonial Empire.

Trinidad was also the birthplace of Adéwalé,[1] a former slave who became the first mate of the Jackdaw,[2] and the Mestizo Bruja Chimalmat,[3] both of whom were also members of the Caribbean Brotherhood of Assassins.
