The Tomb of Smenkhkare was a tomb located below a hill in Haueris Nome, south of Hermopolis. The tomb housed the remains of pharaoh Smenkhkare, along with his wife, Meritaten, and was built atop the Isu complex Eeyoo Sekedoo Aat.
History
In 48 BCE, the Medjay, Bayek, travelled to the tomb in order to hunt down a bandit leader whose men had been harrassing Rai in order to retrieve her father's bow, made from type of stone found within the Isu vault. After killing the leader, Bayek deciphered an Old Kingdom Stele behind Smenkhkare's tomb.[1]
