Tjinder Dani (unknown - 1860) was an Indian Templar, who was making plans to establish a Templar outpost in Amritsar in 1860.

Dani was chosen as the first target of the young Jayadeep Mir, in order for him to prove his worth and despite the warnings of his old tutor, Ethan Frye, to his father about his lack of "killer instinct". Due to the presence of numerous bodyguards around Dani during the day, the Indian Assassins sent Jayadeep to infiltrate Dani's less protected house during the night with the mission of garroting the Templar.
A young Jayadeep Mir was tasked with his assassination, but his attempt at strangling Dani while he was sleeping went awry. Woken, the Templar engaged the Assassin in battle and both ended up falling through a window onto the street, where Dani began to strangle Jayadeep as the former's guards were coming to help their master. Arbaaz Mir, Jayadeep's father who had accompanied his son on the mission, intervened, killing Dani by thrusting his hidden blade into his skull.

However, the fears of Frye became true, when Jayadeep, about to strangle his sleeping target, became tetanized, eventually dropping on the floor the coin wrapped in the neckerchief -to help crushing the man jawpipe- he was trying to use, waking Tjinder Dani. The Templar and the young Assassin fought and fell through a window onto the street, where the man began to strangle Jayadeep as his guards were coming to help their master. Fortunately, Arbaaz who was according to the plan, waiting outside with horses, killed Dani by thrusting his hidden blade into his skull, saving his son.
