Tiziano Vecellio (c. 1488/1490 – 27 August 1576), known in English as Titian, was an Italian painter and the most important of the 16th century Venetian school.

His brother, Francesco Vecellio, was a fellow painter and a member of the Assassin Brotherhood.[1] Circa 1512, Titian attended the wedding of Sofia Sartor and Ezio Auditore da Firenze, his brother's Assassin Mentor, in Venice.[2]

In 2012, several of Titian's paintings were included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.[3]
