The Uab Block

The Uab Block was a mace which consisted of a great block of carved metal as its head. Named after the Uab Nome, it was accordingly common throughout Egypt during the 1st century BCE. The rectangular head could also theoretically be used as a convenient smithing instrument, such that it was advertised as a tool and weapon in one.
