The Second Painting was an altered representation of a fragmented genetic memory.
Aguilar's Journal
We brought much honor to the Brotherhood by recovering the first piece of Da Vinci's set. We need to keep moving and reclaim the remaining pieces.
The second painting was given to the slumlord Garcia Galindo that works for Captain Diego and is hidden in his stash house in the slums of Murcia. Garcia has heard that we seek the painting and has filled his place with traps to protect it. We must tread lightly.
Outcome
The Spanish Assassins successfully retrieved the second painting from da Vinci's The Celestial Mysteries set.
Trivia
- Despite 100% synchronization requiring that both treasure chests be unlocked, this feat is impossible in-game as there is no way to access the second chest. The first chest is on the upper level of the first room players enter, with the Assassins exiting on the roof and being unable to descend, while the second chest is also on the upper level of a room where the only entry is on the ground floor.
