The Mark of Sol

The Mark of Sol was a predator bow used in England during the 9th century, named for the Norse goddess believed to personify the Sun.

During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan bought this bow from a merchant for 700 silver pieces.[1]
