The BBB was a fight club made up of Danish and Anglo-Saxon men located in a mausoleum in the north of Leicestershire, England that served as a place of meeting for members where they would tell stories, get drunk, and engage in friendly hand-to-hand sparring matches.

History

It is unknown exactly who founded the BBB, when, or even what the acronym itself stands for. As the group continued on and gained more members, they decided to restrict their membership behind the catchphrase "Naked fists and walleyed lisps." They would also create a hierarchy of the club's greatest fighters, with the best being declared the "Champion of The BBB."[1]

Sometime in the 9th century, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir found and joined the group, defeating their best fighters to become the new Champion of The BBB and earning permanent membership.[1]
