The Tempio di Saturno (English: Temple of Saturn) is a monument to the Roman god Saturn.
Database Entry
A monument to the agricultural deity Saturn, this temple stands at the western end of the Roman Forum. Also known as the Aerarium, the Roman national treasure was kept here along with the Republic's reserves of gold and silver. Like the Temple of Castor and Pollux, it at one time housed the official scales. From this, one might be able to surmise that Saturn was not only rich but likely had an eating disorder.[1]
