Temple of Brigantia

The Temple of Brigantia was a half-sunken temple dedicated to the Celtic goddess Brigantia, located on the coast of the Humbre River northeast of Doncaster in Yorkshire.

During the 870s, the temple was explored by the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, who recovered a tunic from a chest within the sunken ruin.[1]
