Temple of Aphrodite

The Temple of Aphrodite was a temple located in the Port of Kechries within the Kraneion Plains region of Korinthia, Greece.

Dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite, the temple served those who served her rather as a goddess of navigation and the sea instead of the goddess of love. The temple was occupied by military forces, and visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.[1]
