Tamir was an altered representation of one of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's genetic memories, relived by a research analyst at Abstergo Entertainment through the Animus.

Malik: Why are you here, Altaïr? What misfortunes have you brought before me today?
Altaïr: I am here on Assassin business. I have no quarrel with you, Malik.
