Suttungr's Outriders were a secretive group of Jötnar spies and warriors, led by their leader Riekr.[1]
History
During the Muspel invasion of Svartálfaheimr, the outriders, led by Riekr, infiltrated the realm and followed her orders[1] in search of both treasures and control over the realm. The outriders ordered their soldiers and allied Muspel warriors to interrogate the dwarven population about any information. Unfortunately, their orders left the dwarfs to be either kept prisoners, tortured, or killed in the process. The outriders themselves hid among the wildlife and conferred with their warriors about their plans.[2]
However, their actions caught the attention of the Æsir lord Havi, who hunted down and killed Riekr's outriders. From their deaths, Havi acquired the Jotun Armor Set, which enabled him to venture through the portal to Ginnungagap to meet and face Riekr. Riekr and Havi quickly fought and she was ultimately killed, which ended the outriders' influence in the Nine Realms.[2]
