Suger of Saint-Denis (c. 1081 – 13 January 1151) was a French abbot and statesman. He was a friend and personal adviser of Louis VII of France, and ruled France in his absence during the Second Crusade.

During the French Revolution, the Assassin Arno Dorian explored the city of Franciade and retrieved the Eagle of Suger, a sword used by the abbot which had the power to dazzle his enemies.
