Strategos' Sword

The Strategos' Sword was a sword used in Greece the 5th century BCE, often carried by soldiers who served as strategoi within the military.

During the Peloponnesian War, the sword was given to the Spartan misthios Kassandra after she helped the actor Thespis back to his feet.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Strategos' Sword is a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey which shares the same model as that of the Curved Sword, another weapon in the game. As strategos was a high-ranking military officer, it is likely that this is meant to be the equippable version of Rhexenor's sword instead of one wielded by Thespis, an actor.
