Stephen Langton (c. 1150 – 9 July 1228) was an English cardinal who served as the Archbishop of Canterbury from 1207 until his death in 1228.
He was known for being the first archbishop of Canterbury to live in the Lambeth Palace in Lambeth, London.[1]
