The Stable of the Sanctuary of Olympia

The Stables within the Sanctuary of Olympia were stables wherein the horses and chariots used by visitors and in the Hippodrome were taken care of during the Olympic Games of classical antiquity.

During the 428 BCE OIympics, Maia attempted to hide from the Spartan misthios Kassandra within the stables.[1]
