Spintharos (fl. 4th century BCE) was an ancient Greek architect from Korinth who lived during the 4th century BCE.

Biography

Shortly after the destruction of the Temple of Apollo by an earthquake in 373 BCE, Spintharos was hired by the Alcmaeonidae to rebuilt the temple, which remained standing for more than 700 years until its destruction in 390 CE by Roman Emperor Theodosius.[1]
